Our Partners
Our partners are extremely important to us and help accomplish our shared goals.
WindAid prides itself in fostering collaborations that enhance its ability to deliver renewable energy solutions and support sustainable development in underserved communities. We partner with educational institutions, corporations, and nonprofits all over the world. Our programs bring together students and professionals to share knowledge and promote capacity building across borders.
Messiah University
Tim Burdett, a Mechanical Engineering Professor from Messiah University, shares his experience partnering with WindAid.
Tim and his team helped develop a new device for our wind turbine installations called the Turbine Monitoring System. This technology will play a key role in identifying sites with strong wind resources and monitoring the performance of our wind turbines over time, allowing us to make data-driven improvements in the future.
WindAid x Cornell
Cornell students collaborated with WindAid to design and implement electronic prototypes for small-scale wind turbines and solar systems for rural and remote areas of Peru. Their efforts focused on enhancing access to electricity, thereby enabling families to enjoy basic lighting and phone charging facilities.
