Job Description
We are creating a brand new paid position at WindAid Institute for a highly motivated person to integrate into the WindAid team here in Peru as the Deputy to the Executive Director. Your job will include supporting WindAid Institute and the Executive Director in all aspects including but not limited to tracking, planning, & coordinating across all departments of WindAid: Accounting & Finance, Administration & Governance, Communications & Fundraising, Community Project Development, Human Resources, Volunteer, and Workshop & Engineering.

Requirements
• University Study - Preferably a degree in Engineering and/or Business
• Minimum experience of 1 year in similar position(s)
• Demonstrable history of coordinating personnel with alacrity and amicability
• Deep understanding of WindAid
• Demonstrated experience in strategy, analysis, communications and project management
• High standard of written and spoken English & Spanish
• Volunteer experience
• Self-Driven and enthusiastic
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills
• Six months volunteering experience with WindAid
• Knowledge of small scale wind energy
• Advanced proficiency in Google Drive, including: docs & sheets

Dates
The position is available immediately pending interview process with a one-year renewable contract & three month trial period.

Benefits
• $300 USD per month starting pay, with immediate opportunities for other benefits, bonuses, and salary increase based on work

Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated person to come to Peru, who will direct and organize all fundraising and marketing activities. Core activities will be creating, updating and/or delivering the fundraising strategy, key documents such as the annual report, and marketing material; researching and applying for grants, awards and contracts; and leading others in fundraising, communications (including social media), and marketing activities. Principal goals will be to ensure funding is from a diverse range of sources and meets the requirements of the organisation to deliver its projects; and our communications reach a wide range of current and potential supporters, so they know who WindAid Institute is and want to support us.

Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated person to come to Peru who will lead our social media outreach as part of our Communications team. Core activity will be creating and delivering frequent content on multiple social media platforms to publicly showcase our activities, tell our supporters what we are doing, and reach out to new supporters. The Social Media and Communications Assistant will work closely with the Fundraising and Communications department (including marketing) and videographer colleagues. Other activities will including helping design and deliver key marketing materials such as flyers and emails. Principal goals will be to: grow the WindAid Institute image, and increase our supporter network.

Requirements
• Demonstrated projects in communications and social media – at least one completed cross-platform social media project (promotion for a club, fundraising event, informing a member base about major changes, etc…)
• Proficiency on: YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, & LinkedIn
• A good eye for design and visual presentation
• Volunteer experience

Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated person to come to Peru who can help to create, manage, and optimize WindAid Institute’s social image. We would like to better showcase the work we do through professional videos for e.g. crowdfunding events, marketing campaigns for potential volunteers. Your job will include building a photo archive and creating and editing video, which you will then work with marketing and communications colleagues to post and promote. Principal goals will be to: ensure we put out consistent high quality visuals to promote WindAid.

Requirements
• Good level of experience of filming and video editing – submit at least two examples of video work upon application
• Experience in photography and photo editing

Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated person to come to Peru who can develop our training. We provide education to:
• schools in the area around our installations
• communities receiving the turbines
• volunteers that come from all over the world as part of their academic qualifications
• Peruvian technicians in community test centres (future requirement)
We need assistance with developing all of these educational elements. In particular, we are looking to have our volunteer package recognised as an accredited course by international academic institutions. You will explore the accreditation requirements in the US and UK initially, then internationally. Working closely with the Board Education Officer, workshop and field engineers, you will create a course program that meets those requirements to attract volunteers and ensure their hard work counts as a credit in their college course. Principal goals will be that WindAid’s volunteer program is an accredited course and is a well rounded educational experience, and community test centre technician training is thorough, practical and consistent.

Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated person to come to Peru who can help us understand the impacts on communities of receiving small scale wind power. The Community Impacts Officer will expand upon the anecdotal evidence of the impact our work has by undertaking full impact assessments on the communities in which we work. Your job will be to gather evidence of benefits to demonstrate our impact and to improve how we work with communities where necessary. This includes spending time in the communities before, during and after the installations, talk to them about their experiences, and document feedback using best practice. Principle goals will be to produce high quality, impartial impact assessments, and make recommendations for improvements to future work.

Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated alumni to come to Peru and integrate into the WindAid team as a volunteer coordinator. Your job will include being available to coordinate volunteers while in Peru, most especially during the building of wind turbines in the shop. You will be principally teaching how to build the wind turbines, and the safe use of equipment.
