Volunteer in Peru South America With WindAid
Light
a candle in the darkness. If you want to be a part of change in the
world, we invite you to come and share your gifts and talents with us
in Peru.
We are looking for volunteers with interest and experience in the environmental movement, advertising, marketing, small-business management, and/or not-for-profit administration. We want to with with architects, electrical engineers, graphic designers, electricians, and carpenters.
Do you have
an entirely different set of skills? Contact us and we will find a way
to get you on the team.
What we offer: WindAid is located in a beautiful colonial city in the South America, Trujillo, Peru.
Trujillo
boasts of a wealth of archeological, culinary, and cultural treasures.
In addition to these numerous offerings, WindAid is proud to offer our
volunteers a chance to live as a part of Peruvian family just minutes from the main plaza.
In addition to standard internet access, we offer daily Peruvian meals prepared in the home, access to a modest kitchen, and a chance to learn and practice Spanish at your own pace. We are also happy to help arrange Spanish language classes, help arrange tours and weekend get-aways, and, of course, our advice is always free.
What do we ask: We understand living in a different culture demands a lot from our volunteers and WindAid asks volunteers to actively participate in the ongoing work of the organization 30-35 hours per week. We follow to a daily schedule and ask our volunteers to show up on time and ready to get down to work.
Does this sound good to you? Please continue with the volunteer application below. Questions? Send us a message.
